Starting December 21, Alpine tourists in the French department of Haute-Savoie will be able to dine in a pop-up restaurant at the top of Mont d’Arbois, near the resorts of Saint-Gervais Mont-Blanc and Megève.
Accomodating 350 covers inside and 70 on its outside terrace, the establishment will be open until early April during lunch hours, with several dinners scheduled for special occasions such as New Year’s Eve.
The prestigious Parisian photo studio Harcourt is also involved in the project, offering to take movie star-quality portraits of tourists on location from December 26 to 31.
The pop-up restaurant project, dubbed “Untitled (Mont-Blanc),” takes place ahead of the construction of a luxury hotel, set to open in early 2014.
The restaurant will close at the end of the 2012/13 ski season and will reopen for good the following season, ahead of the hotel’s grand opening.
